Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of terminals and facilitate making the device into an integrated circuit, by scanning a diode matrix, which specifies devices to be controlled, and a key matrix, which specifies control operations, simultaneously by one scanning circuit. CONSTITUTION:A key matrix 15 and a diode matrix 20 are arranged on the same scanning signal output line of a scanning circuit 3. A data comparing circuit 5 compares the Pth data with the (P+1)th data; and when they coincide with each other, coincidence data is outputted to an output synthesizing circuit 8. The output synthesizing circuit 8 synthesizes a code signal, which is latched in a diode decoder circuit 18, and a data signal, which is the output of the data comparing circuit 5, in an optional arrangement and outputs them to an output terminal 11. The part surrounded with the line broken by one dot consists of a semiconductor integrated circuit.
