PURPOSE:To permit multidepression of specific key switches and transmit a remote signal output due to combinations of specific key switches, by providing a mode setting circuit which outputs a signal which inhibits the operation of a multidepression preventing circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a key switch group 13 is operated, data corresponding to a key scan signal is latched in a data latch circuit 6 through a decoder 5. In case of multidepression of the key switch group 13, a multidepression preventing circuit 10 clears data latched in the data latch circuit 6 and sets an output control circuit 11 to the output inhibition state. A mode setting circuit 14 is operated by the operation of a specific key switch A of the key swtich group 13 to inhibit a part of functions of the multidepression preventing circuit 10, and a remote signal corresponding to simultaneous depression of specific key switches A and B is generated at an output terminal.
