Abstract

PURPOSE: To make setting of plural shift modes possible without increasing a P- ROM capacity by providing a gate circuit, where mode signals to designate modes of input data and key input are transmitted, in the preceding stage of P-ROM.
CONSTITUTION: Contactless switch 10 is connected to P-ROMs 12 and 14 through X gate citcuit 40 and Y gate circuit 42 respectively. Then, by the mode signal transmitted to gate circuits 40 and 42 and the depression key input of switch 10, a code signal is caused to be outputted from latch circuit 18 with a program which is previously set in P-ROMs 12 and 14. As a result, setting of plural shift modes can be performed without increasing a P-ROM capacity
