Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare ammonium phosphate in high efficiency, by reacting gaseous ammonia introduced into the reaction part of a tubular reactor along the axial direction with an aqueous solution of phosphoric acid introduced into the reaction part along the tangential direction of the reactor, and introducing the produced slurry to the tubular part having larger diameter.
CONSTITUTION: Gaseous ammonia is introduced into the mixing and reacting part 2 placed at the front part of the tubular reactor through an inlet pipe 1 along the axial direction, and an aqueous solution of phosphoric acid is introducduced through an inlet pipe 3 into the mixing and reacting part 2 tangentially from the circumference at high speed. By this process, ammonia is uniformly mixed with phosphoric acid, and reacted in high efficiency. The produced ammonium phosphate slurry is introduced through the neck part 5 into the tubular part 6 having larger diameter to decrease the flow rate, and the deposition of scale occurs exclusively at the tubular part 6. The scale is removed by introducing steam intermittently from the introducing tube 4 attached tangentially to the mixing and reacting part 2.
