Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of false announcing occuring due to higher harmonic noises generated synchronously with an electric power source completely by applying frequency modulation to a detection signal and removig the higher harmonic noise of the frequency in proximity with the side band wave thereof with a filter. CONSTITUTION:The signal frequency f0 of a voltage control oscillator 1b is modulated with the modulating frequency fm of a low frequency oscillator 1a, and is radiated from an exciting line 2. The wave to be modulated in a detection line 3 receiving this has the side band wave of the frequency (f0+fm), but the high frequency noise in proximity to the side band wave is removed by a notch filter 11, and therefore the beat frequency is relatively high and is blocked by a BPF6 so that it does not operate the succeeding comparator 7, hence there is no anxiety for causing false announcing. On the other hand, the ordinary detecting operation for a human body is accomplished by comparing the change level with a set level in a comparator 7 via a detecting circuit 5 and the BPF6 by the change in the voltage induced in the line 3 on account of a change in a capacity to human body owing to proximity of the haman body and operating an announcing circuit 8.
