Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction by inhibiting the phase synchronization of a noise and a spurious component in an input signal, by providing a circuit which discriminates whether synchronization with the input signal is achieved correctly or not. CONSTITUTION:In addition to the 1st coupler 3a, the 2nd coupler 3b is provided on the output side of a voltage-controlled oscillator 2, and part of its output is applied to an electronic tuning band-pass filter circuir 4. The passing-band frequency of this filter circuit 4 is controlled by an external frequency control signal which corresponds to an input reference signal, and its output is compared by a level comparing and discriminating circuit 5. Then when an input signal level 8 and the output level of the filter circuit 4 are not coincident with each other, a sweep voltage generator 6 is operated to apply a voltage to an oscillator 2 through an adder 7. When the output frequency of the oscillator 2 varies and reaches the passing band frequency of the filter circuit 4, the level of the discriminating circuit 5 becomes coincident and the operation of the voltage generator 6 is stopped to hold the voltage when the generator is stopped.
