Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a temperature detector which detects more than one kind of temperature easily at the same position, by sealing heat-sensitive thyristors, differing in set temperature, in a metallic container. CONSTITUTION:In a cuplike container 3 made of brass, iron, etc., more than one, e.g., two heat-sensitive thyristors 1a and 1b differing in set temperature are contained and sealed by caulking 3 with an O ring 6 and an insulating sealing member 5, anode leads 8a and 8b are connected to anode terminals 4a and 4b fixed to the sealing member 5, and cathode leads 9a and 9b are led out to the caulking part 3c. This temperature detector 16 is inserted into a screw hole provided at a temperature detection part to fit a screw part 3b. With switches 13a and 13b closed, ambient temperature rises above the set temperature of the thyristor 1a, flowing a current to a load 15a. When the ambient temperature rises above the thyristor 1b, a current flows to the load 15b. Consequently, more than one temperature is detected easily at the same position.
