Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of the joining and sealing between an electrode pole and a lid by making a part of the lid which is made in contact with the electrode pole thin, and connecting the electrode pole to a lead wire by opening the thin part of the lid after an adhesive applied around the elctrode pole is hardened. CONSTITUTION:After an electrode group 8 is installed in a container 7, an elecrode pole 2 of the electrode group 8 is fitted into a lid 1 and is joined to the lid 1 by use of an adhesive 4. Here, the lid 1 is provided with a thin part so that the thin part touches the electrode pole 2. When the adhesive 4 is hardened after the lid 1 and the pole 2 are joined, a termianl drawing part 5 is formed by opening the thin part of the lid 1 with the help of a soldering iron or the like. At the same time, a lead wire 6 is soldered to the pole 2 at the terminal drawing part 5.
