Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent drop of the condensing performance owing to air inclusion in a car engine cooling device by means of evaporation and cooling, by depressurizing the air in the cooling system of engine by negative pressure in the intake pipe of engine. CONSTITUTION:The cooling system of an engine is put into communication with the intake pipe 20 through a flow control valve 22. The air in this cooling system is depressurized by negative pressure in the intake pipe 20 to enhance the condensing performance for the evaporated gas in radiator 10. After the engine is stopped, the atmosphere is introduced by opening a passage opening/closing valve 24 in order to avoid drop of pressure in the cooling system. That is, in case the pressure in the cooling system is below the atmospheric pressure and the electric magnet 42 is not energized, a check ball 46 is apart from the pressage 47 against the force of a spring 45 and, also, the valve element 43 is apart from the passage 48, so that the cooling system is put into communication with the atmosphere. Thereby, energization of the electric magnet 42 will attract the valve element 43 and choke the passage 48 to shut off the atmosphere.
