Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely prevent condensation performance from falling due to the presence of mixed air, by connecting an intake pipe and a cooling system to each other through a control valve comprising a check valve and a solenoid valve, to surely keep the pressure of the cooling system reduced. CONSTITUTION:A control valve 21 comprises a solenoid valve section which is electromagnetically opened and closed and a check valve section which is opened and closed depending on a pressure difference. At the starting of an engine, the pressure in a cooling system C is higher than that in an intake system S. For that reason, a valve element 25 is energized toward a valve port 27 and closes it if an electromagnet 24 is not excited. When the electromagnet 24 is excited, the valve element 25 is attracted by the electromagnet 24 so that the valve element is moved rightward and the valve port 27 is opened.
