PURPOSE:To provide an ultrasonic hot dipping device which permits reduction in size by providing wiping nozzles blowing gases and gas supplying devices to cases installed in a hot dipping metal bath and containing ultrasonic oscillators connected to ultrasonic tips. CONSTITUTION:After a steel plate 1 is immersed in a hot dipping metal bath 2 in an arrow direction, it is changed of the course upward by sink rolls, and is passed through the gap of ultrasonic tips 4, 5. At this time, ultrasonic oscillations are applied from the chips 4, 5 to both surfaces of the steel plate 1, to remove the oxide, bubbles, etc. stuck on the surfaces and to wet the surfaces of the steel plate thoroughly with the bath 2. Thence, the steel plate 1 is moved upward off from the bath 2 surface and is passed through the gap of gas wiping nozzles 12, 13, by which the excess metal stuck on the surfaces is removed by gases. Prescribed plating layers are formed on both surfaces of the steel plate 1 and the steel plate is extracted from the plating device. Since this device is provided with cases 10, 11 near the bath surface, the maintenance of the oscillators 8, 9, the tips 4, 5 and the nozzles 12, 13 is easy.
