Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent electrolytic corrosion at a constant part and strengthen over- excitation running yield strength by arranging shield bars of a material having larger specific conductance than a keybar between the keybars to electrically connect both ends. CONSTITUTION:Between adjacent keybars 2 a shield bar 6 is arranged in parallel to said keybars 2, while both ends thereof are fittingly inserted into the holes of the clamping flanges 3 to be fastened by nuts and such. Near both ends adjacent to the clamping flanges 3 of the keybars 2 and the shield bars 6 the shield rings 7 are further arranged to be electrically connected with all bars 2 and 6. Thereby in case stray magnetic flux is generated behind the stator iron core, the current flows to a closed circuit consisting of the shield bars 6 and the shield rings 7 to reduce the current flowing to the keybars 2 for eliminating electrolytic corrosion at the contact part of the keybars 2 with the clamping flanges 3 thus to prevent local overheating.
