Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The copper shield plates 8, as highly conductive and non-magnetic shield plates, are arranged at intervals on the surface of the toothed portion 3 between the slots of the iron core 1 in such a way that the space is interrupted magnetically. In the iron core 1, the leakage flux 5 is interlinked with the copper shield plate 8 and suffers repulsion from over current flowing in it and thus passed by the side of the toothed portion 3 by being distorted along the side of the shield plate 8, so that the surface space of the toothed portion 3 is interrupted magnetically by the shield plate 8. Thus, the over current flowing in the surface of the toothed portion 3 can be reduced and the overheat of the end of iron core can be prevented.
