Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve reliability for preventing gas leak by providing a vacuum switch in a sealed container filled with insulation gas to keep the inside of the container at atmospheric pressure at the lowest temperature predictable to prevent the internal negative pressure of the container. CONSTITUTION:A tap changer 3 and a insulation tube 4 which comprises a room, separate from the transformer body, connecting an upper case 2 and the tap changer 3, are provided in a transformer tank 1. A change-over switch with vacuum switch 6 is provided at the part that goes into the insulation tube 4, detachablly on the upper case 2. A pressure guage 17 is provided to check the internal pressure of the change-over switch room and the insulation tube 4. The transformer tank 1 is filled with SF6 gas and the switching room with the same gas as that of the transformer at the pressure equivalent to the atmospheric pressure at the lowest operating temperature.
