Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve life, reliability, and safety of the bellows seal valve by continuously providing a back-up bellows in the low temperature range on the other side of the working fluid of the seal bellows and sealing inert gas into the inner space of both bellows.
CONSTITUTION: A back-up bellows 10 is provided between the separating plate 6 and the mounting plate 9 fixed on the upper part of the valve rod 2, and inert gas is sealed in the inner space range A between the seal bellows 7 and the back-up bellows. Furthermore, the range B is the working fluid range and the range C is the atmospheric air range. Inert gas, in general, is charged through the inert gas sealing plug provided on the mounting plate 9 on the back-up bellows 10 side and goes into the seal bellows 7 through the space between the separating plate 6 and the valve rod 2.
