Abstract
PURPOSE:To grasp a reducing condition of oxide two-dimensionally, by putting the oxide in a reaction vessel and passing through reactin gas and then obtaining a sectional picture by scanning plural times a necessary cross section of the heating reaction vessel in various scanning directions by a radiant ray. CONSTITUTION:Oxide 1 is filled in a reaction tube 3 and heated to the required temperature with a heating coil 4 introducing reducing gas. A pair of a radiant ray source 12 and a scintillation counter 16 is moved in one body along a staight line 6 so as to make a beam 14 from the gamma ray source 12 of a radiant ray irradiation apparatus 11 pass through a cross section 2 of the objective oxide 1. Detected value of gamma ray is memorized corresponding to the moving distance from a scanning start point 7. After the first scanning is finished, a pair of the apparatus 11 and the conter 16, is rotated centering the oxide 1 on an extension face of the sectional face 2 and the scanning is carried out in the same way. A picture of the cross section of the oxide is composed from a memory signal of the intensity of gamma ray obtaned by repeating this operation by an operation processing apparatus.
