Abstract
PURPOSE:To conduct a nondestructive test of an optional cross section of testing body in detail, by photographing a tomogram of the testing body made of an inorganic matter using a a picture regeneration apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A set of a radiation source 12 and a GM counter tube 16 is moved in one body along a straight line so as to pass a beam 14 through a cross section 2 of an object testing body 1. Further, a radiant ray transmitted the body 1 is detected by the tube 16 during its movement. Also, another GM counter tube 17 is provided to an exit of a slit 13 of a radiant ray irradiation apparatus 11 and the radiant ray from the source 12 is measured directly. The detected values (a), (b) of the radiant ray are inputted to a computer 25 through an A/D converter 22 and the intensity distribution of transmitted radiant ray along a scanning direction is stored in a buffer memory 26. A set of the apparatus 11 and the tube 16 is then revolved centering around the body 1 on an extended face of the cross section 2 and the same scanning is carried out. This operation is conducted at least >=3 times and the picture of the section 2 is operated and synthesized in the computer 25 and is displayed on 35.
