Abstract
PURPOSE: To feed oil positively to sealing portions of a scroll fluid machine, by disposing compressor sections downwardly of motor sections, and separating a back-pressure chamber and a motor chamber from each other by means of a frame and an oil seal.
CONSTITUTION: Compressor sections 1, 2 are disposed at a lower portion and motor sections 45, 46 are disposed at an upper portion in a casing. A unitary shaft of a motor shaft and a crank shaft 31 is disposed also in the casing, and a motor chamber and a back-pressure chamber 40 formed upwardly of a turning scroll 2 are separated from each other by means of a frame 4 and an oil seal 33. Since, with such an arrangement, the head necessary for feeding oil to bearing 20 and an oil seal 33 around the crank shaft 31 can be reduced, feeding of oil to these portions can be effected positively by a centrifugal oil feed pump of an eccentric bore 62 formed at the lower end portion of the crank shaft 31, with no need of providing a special pump for the purpose.
