Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to lubricate a rotary scroll of a scroll type fluid machine, without using any additional part, by forming an oil conduit in an idle crank shaft interconnecting a stationary part and the rotary scroll.
CONSTITUTION: An oil conduit 31 is formed in an idle crank shaft 30 interconnecting a stationary part 16 and a rotary scroll 2. As the crank shaft 14 is rotated oil is sucked by a pumping action and is jetted from an oil port 26 formed at the upper end of the crank shaft and flows into an oil reservoir 32. The oil is then forced to flow upward toward an oil groove 32 formed at the inner peripheral portion of the scroll, which is maintained at a pressure lower than the internal pressure of the housing, through passages 33, 31, 34 so as to lubricate the upper end of the lap. It is thus possible to lubricate the top end surface 12 of the lap which is usually most difficult to lubricate, without requiring any additional part.
