Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a lubricating oil consumption and prevent a failure in the lubrication for a side seal by a method wherein an auxiliary supply port of the lubricating oil is provided in a suction air path.
CONSTITUTION: A lubricating oil supply port 11 is provided in a rotor housing 1 for the rotary engine while the auxiliary supply port 40 of the same is provided in the suction air path 9. A lubricating oil supply path from an oil pump 12 is ramified and both of it are connected to the lubricating oil supply port 11 and the auxiliary supply port 40. A valve 19, stopping the supply of the lubricating oil to the auxiliary supply port in an operation area except the specified operation area, is provided in the path to the auxiliary supply port 40.
