Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent abrasion and galling along with an improve performance by oiling to a lower bearing through a communicating hole communicated to oil in a case provided in a cylinder facing the lower bearing.
CONSTITUTION: Oiling pipes 13 and 14 are respectively provided on the suction side and the discharge side of a cylinder chamber 6 with one end opened in to oil in a case 2 while the other end is opened facing a lower bearing. The sliding section is always oiled through the oiling pipes 13 and 14. In other words, as soon as a compressor is started, oil is fed to the lower beaing from the oiling pipes 13 and 14 depending on difference between the internal pressure of a cylinder 1 and a case 2. The amount of oil fed can be increased about 15 times a large as that in the past (10W15cc/mm). This enables sufficient oil sealing and lubrication of the sliding section particularly the loer bearing, subject to a severe condition.
