Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the output current waveform of an inverter by superposing a signal containing voltage variation correspondence of the DC terminal of the inverter on the output signal of a current regulator. CONSTITUTION:A voltage compensating circuit 25 is provided between a current regulator 22 and a firing angle regulator 24. A signal containing DC voltage variation correspondence of the inverter detected by a voltage detector 14 is superposed on the output signal of the current regulator 22 for controlling the variable controlled DC power source so that the DC input current of the inverter by the circuit 25 becomes desired value. Thus, the output current waveform supplied to the capacitive load having relatively large time constant or to the load having electromotive force, and hence the variation in the DC power source upon commutation can be sufficiently suppressed by employing a relatively small DC reactor.
