Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate piping and to reduce the storage space of an antenna, by constituting the balanced-to-unbalanced transforming circuit of the antenna of a two-stage stack array by the external conductor of a coaxial feeding tube. CONSTITUTION:The transmission power from a feeding terminal 1 is fed to a coaxial feeding tube 3 through a coaxial feeding tube 8. Consequently, since current phases at feeding points 91 and 92 are opposite to each other, parallel feeders 102 at the feeding point 92 are crossed. Feeding points 91 and 92 are connected to dipole antennas 10 and 41 for vertical polarization respectively. The conductor pole for a balanced-to-unbalanced transforming circuit for the antenna 41 is constituted with a conductor pole 31, and the conductor pole of a balanced-to-unbalanced transforming circuit for the antenna 10 is the external conductor of the coaxial feeding tube 8. Thus, one pipe is omitted, and therefore, many antennas are arranged on the surface of a pole 7 of a limited thicness.
