Abstract

PURPOSE:To operate multiband antennas as full-size ones respectively with efficiency by arranging tubular antenna elements concentrically and by fixing each length to a fixed value. CONSTITUTION:Tubular antenna elements 1, 2 and 3 are concentrically arranged via insulators 4 respectively; respective free terminals are supported by insulators 8 and 9 being insulated electrically, and the others are connected to feeder 7 via conductor 10 respectively. Lengths l1, l2 and l3 of antenna elements 1, 2 and 3 are set one fourth the wavelengths of service bands or to their adjacent ones. Two antennas formed in this way are symmetrically connected and used as a dipole antenna or one vertical antenna. As a result, they can be operated as full-size antenna for respective service frequency bands with efficiency.
