Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the deterioration of the characteristics of a photoconductive zinc oxide layer due to a photosetting resin and to obtain a receptor enabling the repetition of wet development by interposing an emulsion resin layer between the zinc oxide layer and a layer of the photosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:On a photoconductive zinc oxide layer an emulsion resin layer is formed, and a photosetting resin is coated on the emulsion resin layer and set to form a layer. Since the photoconductive layer has a porous surface, when the photosetting resin is directly coated, the resin soln. penetrates the photoconductive layer, and the layer is eluted, resulting in deteriorated characteristics. The emulsion resin prepared by dispersing resin particles in water does not penetrate the photoconductive layer and causes no elution because the solvent is water. The especially suitable emulsion resin is an acrylic emulsion. For example, the acrylic emulsion is suitably diluted with water, coated on the photoconductive layer, and dried.
