Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the photoconductive toner of high sensitivity and less residual potential by partially covering the surfaces of photoconductive cores with conductive fine powder of sizes sufficiently smaller than those of the cores. CONSTITUTION:Photoconductive cores of 5-100mum diameters (formed by coating the surfaces of, for example, plastic balls, with a zinc oxide-silicon resin dispersion layer) 3 and conductive fine powder of 0.1-1mu diameters (for example, fine powder of silver) are charged at a predetermined ratio into water and after these are dispersed by ultrasonic waves, the mixture is filtered out followed by drying, whereby the photoconductive toner in which 1-10% of the surfaces of the photoconductive cores 3 are covered with the conductive fine powder 4 is obtained.
