Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain superior electric characteristics against change of environmental conditions and not deteriorated in charging characteristics even at the time of repeated use by forming a first interlayer and a second interlayer both specified in composition between a conductive base body and a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The first interlayer containing a carboxylic salt, such as potassium 1-naphthalenecarboxylate or potassium stearate, and the second interlayer overlying on the first interlayer comprising at least an inorganic pigment and a binder resin in a volume ratio of 1/1-3/1 are formed between the conductive base body and the photoconductive layer, thus permitting the characteristics of the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be not deteriorated by repeated uses and independent of changes of environmental conditions.
