Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable good images to be stably formed in a large number of times by using a toner comprising a binder resin powder and fine particles smaller than said powder in diameter subjected to surface treatment with a material small in surface energy. CONSTITUTION:The toner comprises the binder resin powder and the fine particles having a smaller diameter than that of said powder and subjected to surface treatment using the material small in surface energy, preferably, obtained by mixing the fine particles having an average particle diameter of 0.05-3mum with the material small in surface energy and giving mechanical impact to them to fix said material to the surface of each of the fine particle, thus permitting good images to be stably formed in numerous times not accompanied by damage of a photosensitive body and stains with the toner constituents.
