Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a stable image independently of humidity, etc. by forming a low resistance layer contg. photoconductive zinc oxide and a water soluble binder as principal components. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic recording body having a low resistance layer or low resistance layers contg. photoconductive zinc oxide and a water soluble binder as principal components on one side or both sides of the support is used. The preferred mixing ratio between the zinc oxide and the binder is about 0.5/1-10/1. In the formation of an image, the recording body is irradiated with ultraviolet rays or white light beforehand, and voltage is applied, or voltage is applied while irradiating the recording body. The suitable coating amout is about 3-30g/m<2>.
