Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve reliability by preventing the conduction of high heat to a core by fitting a tensile-strength wire in an anchor sleeve by moving an anchor disk after thermally setting an adhesive fixing the tensile-strength wire between the anchor sleeve and a cylindrical wedge. CONSTITUTION:An optical cable 12 is run previously through sleeve holes of a rubber boot 26, an anchor housing 25, an anchor disk 22 whose surface is oxidized and then covered with polyethylene 21, etc. Then, a tensile-strength wire 18 at the terminal part of the cable 12 whose polyethylene sheath 19 is removed, the inside of an anchor sleeve 20, and a cylindrical wedge 23 are applied with adhesives 24 and while the tensile-force wire 18 is sandwiched between the sleeve 20 and wedge 23, the adhesives 24 are set thermally in a heating furnace. Then, the disk 22 is moved to fit the wire 18 in the sleeve 20, a polyethylene sheath 19' is provided, and the anchor housing 25 and the rubber boot 26 are moved toward the disk 22 to unite them.
