Abstract
PURPOSE: To give continuity to the way of decreasing effective heating surface area of a heat transfer tube, by a method wherein a stationary layer is formed in a fluidized bed, by partially stopping introduction of the air which is blown into the fluidized bed successively, and the volume of the air blown into the fluidized bed is increased or decreased, in accordance with the change of the load rate, in the fluidized bed tube heater.
CONSTITUTION: The stationary layer 1 is formed in a fluidized bed 1' by partially stopping intoduction of the air into a fluidized bed from air injecting pipes 3, in accordance with the change of the load successively, and the height of a fluidized bed 1' is changed by increasing or decreasing the volume of the air blown into the fluidized bed. With such an arrangement, the effective heating surface area of heat transfer tubes 2 can continuously be changed, because their upper ends are buried into the bed and exposed out of it, as the tubes are provided inclined to a heater. As a result, the amt. of the heat to be exchanged by the heating tubes 2 can be changed continuously. Accordingly, efficient operation can be obtd.
