Abstract
PURPOSE: To circulate a heat medium without using a driver by sealing up the heat medium in a circulation passage composed of a heater, a descent pipe, a pipe and a return pipe and by connecting the descent pipe and the return pipe to each other through a heat pipe.
CONSTITUTION: Since a return pipe 6 and a descent pipe 5 are coupled to each other through a heat pipe 7, a predetermined quantity of the heat of a heat medium in the descent pipe is quickly transferred to the return pipe due to the temperature difference between the heat medium in the descent pipe and that in the return pipe. For this reason, the temperature of the heat medium in the vertical descent pipe 5 becomes lower than that of the heat medium in the return pipe 6 and the specific gravity of the medium in the descent pipe becomes smaller than that of the medium in the return pipe. The heat medium moves from the descent pipe 5 to the return pipe 6 due to the specific gravity difference between the medium in the pipe 5 and that in the other pipe 6. The heat medium introduced into the return pipe 6 moves naturally into a heater 2 because the specific gravity of the heat medium in the heater is reduced due to the heating of the medium.
