Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a heat accumulator from breakage caused by the expansion of heat accumulating material, by forming an interconnecting passage for the heat accumulating material when melted, by connectingly arranging a heat exchanger pipe for heating in the vertical direction in the heat accumulating tank filled with heat accumulating material of the latent heat type.
CONSTITUTION: The heat accumulating material 4A (solid part) and 4B (liquid part) of the latent heat type, such as calcium chloride are filled in the specified parts of a heat accumulating tank 1, and a heat exchanger pipe 2 for cooling and that for heating 3 are arranged in the furnace as well. A part 5 of heat exchanger pipe 3 for heating is set upright in the shape of reversed U, with its upper end projected from the upper surface of solid heat exchanging material 4A.
