Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive the omission of a smoothing reactor and the improvement of transient response speed by converting a DC current into an AC current while partially producing a by-pass period by switching elements connected to a constant- current source and formed in bridge connection. CONSTITUTION:A voltage-current converter 30 acts as a constant-current source for an inverter 10 and a fixed DC current is converted into an AC current while partially producing a by-pass period by switching elements 10a-10d formed bridge connection in the inverter 10 through the control signal from a conductivity regulator 28 and the AC current is supplied to a transformer 14. In this way, the smoothing reactor which was conventionally required as an output filter can be omitted and transient response speed can be improved by about 200 times comparing with a conventional switching regulator.
