Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to feed the DC voltage which is higher than DC source voltage to a load circuit by a method wherein a plurality of stages, obtained by connecting a transistor which will be turned to ON or OFF at a half cycle, a capacitor to be used for load suuply and a diode, are provided and coupled. CONSTITUTION:A circuit, consisting of a transistor Q1, a diode D1 and a capacitor C1, and a circuit, consisting of a transistor Q2, a diode D2 and capacitor C2, are coupled. On the other hand, a circuit, consisting of a transistor Q3, a diode D3 and a capacitor C3, and a circuit, consisting of a transistor Q4, a diode D4 and a capacitor C4, are coupled. The voltage VC2 which is twice as high as the voltage of a DC power source E is charged on the capacitor C2. Similarly, voltage VC4 is charged on the capacitor C4. Accordingly, subject boosting circuit can be formed in a very small size without using large-sized parts such as a transformer and the like, and can be formed in an integrated circuit.
