Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a negative voltage higher than the voltage of a DC power source by connecting a transistor which turns ON and OFF in a half period, a charge supplying capacitor and a diode each other. CONSTITUTION:When a transistor Q1 is turned on and a transistor Q2 is turned off, the voltage VC1 approximately equal to the voltage E of a DC power source is charged in a capacitor C1. When the transistor Q1 is turned off and the transistor Q2 is turned off in the next period, the voltage obtained by superposing the charging voltage VC1 to the voltage E is charged in a capacitor C2, thereby obtaining the voltage having approximately double of the voltage of the power source. Thus, the voltage VC2 can be obtained with the positive polarity as reference voltage O volt and the terminal D as negative polarity.
