Abstract
PURPOSE:To generate a short-circuiting current wave-form of various shape by suitably superposing the discharging currents of a plurality of capacitors and discharging the capacitors. CONSTITUTION:Voltages V1, V2, ..., VN to be charged in respective capacitor banks C1, C2, ..., CN are set at a charging voltage setting unit V. Controllers Y1, Y2, ..., YN are operated to charge the respective capacitors C1, C2, ..., CN at the set voltages V1, V2, ..., VN respectively. Then, switching elements D1, D2, ..., DN are conducted in accordance with the time interval set by a discharge starting time setting unit T. Thus, the short-circuiting currents of various shape can be flowed through an article X to be detected.
