Abstract
PURPOSE:To dispose the binder of each fluorescent coating layer simultaneously by a single heating process when plural layers of a fluorescent coating are formed on the inside surface of a glass bulb, by using an agent not dissolving the binder of just previously formed layer as the solvent of a mixed liquid to be applied on the upper layer. CONSTITUTION:when plural layers formed by piling fluorescent films by coating the inside surface of a glass bulb with mixed liquid made by dispersing phosphor powder together with a binder in a solvent, an agent not dissolving the binder of a just previously formed layer is used as the solvent of a mixed liquid to be applied on the upper layer. Thereby, as the run down of phosphor or such a phenomenon as a reed screen from of phosphor can be prevented, the binder of each layer can be disposed simultaneously through a single heating process, and the simplification of production precesses and the reduction of the rate of fault can be achieved.
