Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the decoration effect using a single discharge lamp by dividing and coating a number of phosphor layers on the inside surface of a lamp tube.
CONSTITUTION: By dividing and coating two phosphor layers 3 and 4 at the upper and lower halves on the inside surface of the glass tube 2, respectively, the fluorescent lamp 1 is constituted. The phosphor layers 3 and 4 are combined depending upon the differences such as color temperature, chroma, and color shade. The above-mentioned phosphor layer can also spirally be divided and coated on the inside surface of the glass tube. This structure can improve the decoration effect and obtain an illuminator which meets the requirements of a room.
