Abstract
PURPOSE:To acquire the operation technique while performing the operation work of a plant, by installing a programmable logic controller storing a series of alarm sequences between an alarm system and a control system. CONSTITUTION:For the training of an operator, a sign corresponding to the APRM HIGH HIGH is keyed in from a keyboard 10. This signal is applied to a programmable logic controller PLC9 via a computer 11. The controller PLC9 produces successively the alarm signals due to the APRM HIGH HIGH and based on a sequence that is previously stored and then sends these signals to a CTR12 through the computer 11. At the CRT12, the APRM HIGH HIGH is first displayed. After this, the scrum and then turbine trip and so on receive a sequential alarm display. In other words, an operator simulates a series of alarm sequences during the occurrence of a fault just by operating the keyboard 10 for the training of the operation technique.
