Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform a test simply with the existed apparatus by a method wherein a running pattern signal between stations is applied to the train automatic operating apparatus and then the torque control instruction output from this apparatus is checked whether it is equal to the previously memorized control instruction or not.
CONSTITUTION: A pattern signal generator 1 outputs a predetermined running pattern signal between stations according to an instruction from a computer 2 and this output signal is applied to a train automatic operating apparatus ATO3 having a predetermined number of torque control instructions T. ATO3 sends its outputs to the computer 2 and a predetermined number of torque control instructions T are memoried in the computer 2. Then, the computer 2 sends the output of "Yes" when the respective corresponding control instruction is input thereto from ATO3. Thus, in the case ATO3 is in trouble, either one of the conteol instructions is not inputted to the computer 2, so that the presence or absence of trouble is checked over total range automatically and simply without use of the simulator or the like.
