Abstract
PURPOSE:To uniformalize the current loss of a conductor and to eliminate the local heat that concentration for the subject motor by a method wherein the rod type conductor having conductive and magnetic properties is protruded and fixed on the surface of the outer circumference of a rotor core and a rotor conductor is formed by short-circuiting both ends of the rod type conductor using a short-circuit ring. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of rod type conductors 18, having conductive and magnetic properties, are arranged in the gap 12 located between a rotor and a stator, and fixed by welding respectively on the surface of the outer circumference of the rotor core 16 leaving the prescribed interval 20. Then, both ends of these rod type conductors 18 are short-circuited using a short-circuit ring and a cage type rotor conductor is formed. Through these procedures, as the high frequency current, which may be induced on the rod type conductor, is uniformly distributed on the surface, the current loss can be uniformalized and no local heatconcentration is generated. Also, as the conductors 18 are fixed directly to the core 16, the mechanical strength of the rotor can be increased.
