Abstract
PURPOSE: To save industrial wave without giving influence on desulfurization and dust removing performance by using sea water for the mother liquid of a dust removing system, and industrial water for a desulfurization system in wet type waste gas treatment.
CONSTITUTION: A waste gas is introduced through a line 9 into a dust removing tower 1 where it is scrubbed by the sea water soln. circulating in a line 13 and is removed of dust, and part of SO2 is simultaneously desulfurized. The vapor component for the purpose of cooling the waste gas is replenished by sea water. The cooled and humidified waste gas is introduced through a line 10 into an absorption tower 2. The SOx in the waste gas contacts with the alkali slurry circulating liquid contg. CaCO3, etc. circulating in the line 16 and is fixed as CaSO2.1/2H2O, CaSO4. 2H2O. Industrial water is replenished through a line 17. The desulfurized waste gas is discharged through a line 11. The slurry contg. CaSO3, etc. is extracted through a line 18 and is subjected to prescribed treatment processes.
