Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of the captioned air conditioner by a method wherein an electromagnetic valve is provided in a passage between the outlet of a condensor and the inlet of an evaporator, a fan of the evaporator is controlled by starting and stopping the compressor and a check valve is provided on the discharge side of the compressor.
CONSTITUTION: The electromagnetic valve 8 is provided in the passage extending between the outlet of the condensor 2 and the inlet of the evaporator 4 so that the valve 8 is opened and closed by starting and stopping the compressor 1 and the fan 8 of the evaporator is driven at a time delayed from the time when the compressor is started or stopped. Further, the check valve 7 is provided between the compressor 1 and the condensor 2 so that a high pressure gas from the discharge side of the compressor at the time of stoppage of the compressor flows into the intake side thereof from a clearance in the vale or the piston of the compressor to bring the compressor and the condensor under a balanced condition at a low pressure. Consequently, the compressor 1 is smoothly started and the air conditioning is quickly performed to therey improve the efficiency of the air conditioning apparatus.
