Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the adoption of the wide ratio of variability of refrigerting capacity in the range of narrow rate of reduction of the efficiency of performance by conducting the opening or closure of a bypass hole provided in the cylinder of a compressor and the change of pole of an electromotor.
CONSTITUTION: On condition that a valve 13 is opened, that a valve 15 is closed and that the rotational number of an electromotor is made to be maximum by reducing the number of pole, the refrigerating of 100% is obtained, while, on condition that the valve 13 is closed and that the valve 15 is opened, a plunger 4 is moved to communicate a bypass hole 2 with a low-pressure chamber 5 and the refrigerating gas is backed to the vicinity of the suction orifice 6 of a cylinder 1, whereby the refrigerating capacity falls to 70% approximately. On condition that the valve 13 is opned, that the valve 15 is closed and that the rotational number of the electromotor is made to be minimum by increasing the number of pole thereof, the rotational number of a shaft 7 and a roller 8 is also reduced and the refrigerating capacity turns to be about 50%, while, on condition that the valve 13 is closed and that the valve 15 is opened, the bypass hole 2 is opened and the refrigerating capcity further falls down to about 30%. At this time, the reduction ratio of the efficiency of performance is within about 15%, it becomes possible to control the refrigerating capacity at four levels, and adjustment thereof can also be conducted with ease.
