Abstract
PURPOSE: To determine a change-over point for the purpose of titled control at an optimum point by temporally setting the change-over point of suction throttling type and on-off type controls, executing both controls, and determining a set value by the coincidence of the state quantity measured value of both controls.
CONSTITUTION: Operation is started from a suction throttling type control. The electric power consumption of a motor 3 is taken into a control device 23 via a detector 25, and its mean value M1 is stored. When the electric power consumption of the motor 3 goes equal to or lower than the temporally set value M, the control is shifted to an on-off type control. Namely, when the pressure in a gas cooler 10 arrives at an upper or lower limit, an air release valve 9 is opened or closed, to operate a compressor 1 under no load or full load, then the mean driving power M2 thereof is determined. The electric power consumption of the time when the driving power consumptions M1 and M2 of both controls coincide is stored as the set value M3 of the change-over point. In the subsequent control, the suction throttling control is carried out when the electric power consumption is equal to or larger than the set value M3 and if it is below the same, the on-off control is carried out.
