Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance the melt sticking resistance by adding a prescribed amount of Sn and In to an Ag-oxide alloy.
CONSTITUTION: An alloy consisting of, by wt., 10W15% Sn, 2W7% In, about 3% Zn and the balance Ag is refined. This Ag alloy is rolled and forged to a sheet, and it is internally oxidized at 650°C under 10atm. pressure of O2 for 72hr. This internally oxidized Ag-oxide alloy contg. Sn and In has superior melt sticking resistance.
