Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a regulated electronic circuit with the low power consumption by controlling a switching MISFET that varies the state of series connection between two sets of capacitor and then generates the reduced voltage with a prescribed clock which uses the reduced voltage as a power source. CONSTITUTION:Switching MISFETQ1 and Q2 plus Q1 and Q4 are not turned on simultaneously with the in-phase and adverse phase clocks delivered from a clock generating circuit 11. While the switching FETQ1 and Q3 plus Q2 and Q4 are turned on substantially at the same time with different periods while the power loss is prevented. As a result, capacitors C1 and C2 of the same capacitance in a voltage reducing circuit are charged with a series connection secured via a power source Vss and then discharged with a series connection with no source Vss. Thus the output voltage of the circuit 1 is reduced down almost to a half of the source Vss to reduce the power consumption. The voltage of the circuit 1 is regulated by a voltage regulation circuit 2, and accordingly an oscillation circuit 2, a dividing circuit 5, the circuit 11, etc. are driven and controlled stably with the low power consumption. As a result, an electonic circuit is obtained for an electronic watch, etc. with the stable action and low power consumption.
