Abstract

As a result, the off period is increased with no change given to the switching time duration, and a constant level is secured for the output voltage VO. On the contrary, the oscillation frequency increases with reduction of the voltage VIN, and accordingly the period is reduced with no change given to the switching time duration. Thus a constant level is secured for the voltage VO in the same way. In such way, the time duration of switching is always constant in case when a constant voltage function is given to the fluctuation of the voltage VIN, thus maintaining the minimum loss for the swiching. As a result, the stability is more increased for the output voltage, at the same time increasing the efficiency of conversion.
