Abstract

PURPOSE:To connect a lead wire very simply without short-circuit, by fitting a lead wire fitting part only to one end part of a vibrating element and arranging vibrating elements so that lead wire fitting parts are placed alternately. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 12 and 13 are formed on both sides of a vibrator plate 11 consisting of plane plate-shaped piezoelectric materials. The electrode 12 consists of a vibrating part 12c, lead wire fitting parts 12a which are formed on the upper face of one end part 11a of the vibrating plate 11 with a width (d) at a pitch 2d and are connected to the vibrating part 12c, and lead wire fitting parts 12b which are formed on the upper face of the other end part 11b being shifted from positions of fitting parts 12a by the length (d). This vibrator plate 11 is caused to adhere to the surface of a supporting table 15 so that the electrode 12 is the upper surface. Under this state, the vibrator plate 11 is cut in the longitudinal direction. By this cutting, plural ultrasonic vibrators 14 arranged at the pitch (d) are obtained. thus, the pitch of arrangement of lead wires is twice as long as that of vibrators, so that shortcircuit of lead wires is prevented.
